Two Petrol Tankers catches Fire in Oyo

Two tankers loaded with Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petroleum, caught fire in Oyo State. The incident occurred opposite Current Foam along the Ife/Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan around 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The fire incident was the result of a trailer tanker loaded with 45,000 litres of PMS, which lost control while in motion, swerved off the road, fell into a nearby ditch, and caught fire. It was learned that another tanker caught fire in the process. The General Manager of Oyo State Fire Service, Mr. Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the development. Akinyinka, in a statement made available to journalists on Thursday, noted that the fire incident involved the two tankers. Aiyedatiwa Reiterates Commitment To Accelerated Development
