RCCG Parish Pays Medical Bills of Five Newborns

To commemorate the 83rd birthday of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the RCCG Joseph’s Palace, Lagos, provided care packages and settled the medical bills of five newborn babies.

In a statement on Thursday, the church said the beneficiaries, born at the Lagos State Maternal and Child Centre, Amuwo Odofin, included three delivered through natural birth and two via caesarean section, adding that all five babies were born on March 2, 2025, the same day Pastor Adeboye marked his 83rd birthday.

Led by the Assistant Pastor in charge of Youth Province One, Martins Olusakin, the outreach initiative aims to exemplify Adeboye’s message of love, kindness, and generosity.

“Inspired by the values and teachings of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Youth Province One undertook a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to make a meaningful impact on the community,” a statement from the parish read.

“Recognising the importance of service and compassion, the CSR unit dedicated time, resources, and effort to support individuals in need at the Lagos State Maternal and Child Centre, Amuwo Odofin, on March 3, 2025.

“The initiative focused on providing newborn care packages and covering the medical bills of all babies born on March 2, in celebration of Pastor Adeboye’s 83rd birthday. In total, five children were delivered—three through natural birth and two via caesarean section. While their parents came from diverse religious backgrounds, the love of Jesus transcends all boundaries.”

The statement further emphasised that the initiative was intended to inspire others to embrace acts of service and kindness, reflecting Adeboye’s commitment to love, unity, and selfless service.

“Through this project, the CSR unit successfully brought joy and relief to many, embodying Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s message of love, kindness, and generosity.

“The impact of this initiative by RCCG Joseph’s Palace, Youth Province One, extends beyond the direct beneficiaries. It serves as a call to action for others to engage in acts of service and kindness.

“As we celebrate Pastor Adeboye’s 83rd birthday, we are reminded that true celebration goes beyond words—it is reflected in the lives we touch and the hope we bring to others.

“RCCG Joseph’s Palace and Youth Province One remain committed to making a difference, ensuring that the legacy of faith, holiness, and generosity continues to inspire generations to come.”
