Invasion: Oyo govt demolishes building belonging to Yoruba nation agitators’ alleged sponsor

Oyo State government has demolished a building belonging to Modupe Onitiri-Abiola, one of the alleged sponsors of Saturday’s attack on the government secretariat.

It would be recalled that some people who claimed to be Yoruba nation agitators had on Saturday stormed the Secretariat in a bid to take over the House of Assembly.

The government has now taken action by demolishing the building where Onitiri-Abiola allegedly declared Yoruba nation.

The building, according to sources, was demolished on Wednesday.

Fatai Owoseni, Special Adviser on Security Matters to Governor Seyi Makinde, confirmed the development to journalists on Wednesday.

Owoseni in a brief telephone conversation said, “You can get more details from the Commissioner of Police”.
